♫ Rocket into the Night, Rocket into the Night ♫

This is a capture of the first SpaceX launch of 2020 on January 6th. The conditions were absolutely perfect with a 9PM evening launch time and perfectly clear Florida winter skies that allowed this launch to be captured from just shy of 125 miles away.

SpaceX sent up another batch of sixty satellites with the launch that will be used for their satellite internet service. SpaceX will be launching and orbiting over 12,000 (or possibly more) of the Starlink satellites in total by the mid 2020’s. I’m hoping to capture as many of the rocket launches off of the Florida coast as I can in the years to come.
